There is a Christian Organization on campus that I attend and I am a member of the leadership team. As a part of this ministries leadership I am often talking with people about what they want to see change in our group and what they think could be added or removed. One of the things recently that has been coming up that no one seems to want to start themselves but want to see added is a prayer group meeting weekly where anyone in the organization can come to a certain location and time and pray together about what ever God called them to do. I think that, as we talked about in class, this would bring us as a group closer to God and that it would also bring us closer together as we pray about problems in our lives, troubles, and concerns as well as other students and campus in general. If prayer makes us want to live a better life because we are communing with God than I think a group praying together would be even better.
