Emily Dickinson talks about nature in her poem "Nature, the Gentlest Mother". I felt that this poem demonstrated the concept of "earth as a theatre full of wonders" as mentioned in Landscapes of the Sacred. This poem personifies nature and gives it voice. Nature is portrayed as a mother in the poem and her children are all of us. In terms of this poem relating to the idea of Earth as a theatre of wonders, this poem produces a lot of imagery and allows you to "see" what is going on within each stanza.
