The movie Wayfaring gave us a glimpse at the globally known pilgrimage of the Camino de Santiago. While watching this movie, it makes you realize just how prevalent communitas is in journeys such as this one. The bonds that these people form with complete strangers is honestly beautiful. The fact that people from all different backgrounds can come together, with no social hierarchy, all equal, as pilgrims of the Camino is really refreshing to see. I loved getting to know all of the different reasons for the people coming on this journey, and how no matter what reason that was, were accepted by everyone on the journey. The locals' kindness generosity, showed how much of an effort they put forth to try to make their camino, muy buen. Getting an inside look at this whole experience through all of the different people's perspective was inspiring and pretty dang cool.
