Landscapes of the Sacred #2 Chora
The idea of "Kora/Chora" has fascinated me since I was on the trail last may. The whole idea of this potential that is laying in a place, waiting to be seen by someone and expressed to others. At one point on the trail, I actually wanted my trail name to be Vata which means "see-er " I wanted to always be open to this idea of Kora in order to change a space into a place. So many people can spend time on the trail or in some other kind of natural setting and never give themselves the time or opportunity to see or experience the Kora that is in so many places. They were interacting with the setting as a space or (topos) rather than as Kora and place.
