Ghost Waters

            Lanes books talks about the Ganga the Yamuna, and the Saraswati Rivers.  The first two rivers can be found on a map; however, the Saraswati is invisible.  “The third one is an invisible, mythical river, unseen except to those who enter its waters by faith”(Lane 37).  This amount of chora the Saraswati River must be unfathomable because of the fact one can feel enlightened by something only seen through the eyes of faith.  I see how faith can play a huge role in connecting spiritually because without faith, one is limited to only seeing a part of what the divine has to offer us.
